A little vintage play....

I pulled out the old vintage books this week looking for something new to do. And started not one but two new projects.

On the needles........ a little lacy baby cardigan......yarn picked up for the grand price of $1 for two balls at an op-shop. Don't you just LOVE such finds? I do.

On the hook...... a little dress which is not quite going to plan. The pattern makes no sense what-so-ever so in my usual fashion after nearly throwing in the towel, I just started making it up as I went along. It IS going to work. Almost 3 year old niece chose it herself so it has to. It will just have to be a little improvised.

Im feeling very yarn enthusiastic this week so hopefully I will get a bit of time for it. What are you making right now?

Wishing you a wonderful, productive week.

    1. I am really loving the cardigan. I did however have one little set back when the kitten pulled it all off the needles and decided to play with it. EEEEEk, had to pull back a few rows and start again. All 167 stitches.

  2. OMGosh! That is a steal! That is like yarn fairy magic. I love how in crochet you can improvise and not worry about sts falling off. I can't wait to see this frock.

    1. I know, I managed to pick up a few small balls of yarn for 50c each. Have not decided what to make with the others yet.
